The vines planted at the end of the 19th century on an extreme hillside in Missian mark one of the oldest vineyards in South Tyrol. The grape goods, which have been handpicked with the utmost care and painstaking work and the extremely low yield form the valuable basis for our Pinot Blanc SANCTISSIMUS. The grapes are mashed in amphorae with the peels and ferment slowly for a few months. The wine finds its natural balance after a maturing process in a large oak barrels. The multi-layered vintage 2019 promises a complex aroma experience and develops on the palate very dense and mineral. A nice match between acidity, fruit and complexity characterizes this Pinot Blanc. Brilliant straw yellow. Complex nose, shows notes of ripe apple, with fine spicy notes, of sage. On the palate, voluminous, juicy, creamy and persistent on the finish.
