Terroir

The terroir of St. Pauls is characterised by the natural diversity of its locations. Each grape variety finds its ideal position on the slopes and hills, dating from the last Ice Age, with their different types of soil.

Lying protected on the south side of the Alps and enjoying 1800 hours of sunshine a year, well aired by the downdraught from the Mendel range and with a climate distinguished by warm days and cool nights, our vineyards deliver high-quality grapes that are, according to the old tradition, harvested by hand.
